Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada who attend CME activities that have been accredited by the AAFP for Prescribed credit can claim MAINPRO-M1 credit for interactive activities (group, online, etc.) or MAINPRO-M2 credit for reading/testing.
According to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP), entities authorized to provide continuing education include the AANP, NAPNAP, ANC, ACNM, AMA, AAFP and AAPA. All continuing education offerings should be relevant to the nurse practitioner clinical practice specialty in which the applicant is certified.
